Gastric ulceration has become a widely appreciated problem in the equine world. It affects all types of horse and our understanding of how it affects horses is much better understood, although significant effort continues to go into advances in prevention and treatment. Affected horses can present in a wide variety of ways, please call one of the vets at the clinic if you wish to discuss this condition. Please note; horses require starving prior to gastroscopy- please call the office for our current advice.
